submitted by Stephanie D. - |Recommended: YesFriendly and relaxed, wonderful property manager, great and safe community — Monterra is a reasonable and fair company that is constantly working to keep tenants happy and cared for. I never worry about maintenance issues not getting fixed and the property manager is a wonderful person who works quickly to get issues fixed. I've never felt taken advantage of by this company and i love my apartment, my neighbors, and how safe I feel in this apartment complex. This is one of the most relaxed places I have lived and I'm excited that they worked with me so hard to ensure I renewed my lease with them. They always work to find win win solutions and are improving the community every day.

submitted by Mason B. - |Recommended: YesPlenty of concerns — Monterra is very new, so it's hard to give a complete evaluation. They have started fixing up roads and buildings around the complex which is great, but I have seen lots of concerning reviews and comments from people online. For one, there was a lady that was continually harassing and disturbing residents, and Monterra did not inform any residents of danger to them, and took an incredibly long time to evict said lady. I had only one experience with this lady, and she went so far as to standing outside of my back porch, which isn't exactly an easy place to get to--you have to walk around the entire building, and wade through chest-high grass.

On-site management is here to help during those times. If you were ever to experience this again, please reach out to on-site management. As you know the resident in question is gone as you mentioned and is allowed on the premises, and we addressed the issue as required by Washington Landlord-Tenant. We always welcome to schedule an appointment and speak with the leasing office to discuss any other issues you may have in person.

Nothing special with the apartments, but there is very little negative things I would have to say about it. Laundry is close, appliances work just fine, management is communicative. 3 very important things to me when renting.
